Yikes! I got blogged!

Erin

Dang! Imagine my dismay in discovering that "My sister, the Genius" is not about ME.

Love --

Erin, your other sister who is apparently not a genius (*sobbing into my cup of coffee*)

sam

gorgeous, and I am sure Erin has something going for her too

That is a mighty fine painting of a beet you have there.

actually I was blown away!

Jen

Stunning! I would love some foodie art for my kitchen... can't wait to see more!

Dr. Biggles

Nicely nice. We're in the same boat here. My sister is an excellent artist and I can't even draw cool stick people. If it wasn't for the camera, I'd have no art at all. Can she draw a rooster?

milgwimper

WOW, that is beautiful! I would love to see more!

molly

Thanks all for the encouraging and positive comments. I will hopefully be posting more soon.

And for the record, Erin is the brains in the family, so she's THAT kind of genius.

katie

Yeah, thanks everyone for your positive responses--and to Molly for putting my painting on her FAB blog. I will send some more images...maybe an......OKRA!

--Katie (the dumb pie-baking-beet-painting sister)

Mom

Wait a minute!! I thought I was the brains in the family.

Molly

This is so rockin I would tattoo it on my flesh. Absolutely the most superfly beet I have ever seen.

Carla

I just found this blog and it is beautiful. This beet is gorgeous, I learned to love beets this winter. I love the subsequent art that shows up later, and I am waiting with anticipation my childhood friend, the okra!

Tracy Ore

I used a modification of your sister's beet art for a basis of my first ever tattoo. Thank you. If you would like to see a photo, let me know.

Colleen

I just saw this exact beet tattooed on a girl waiting beside me in my chiropractors office. . .I was sooooo impressed I just had to google it and see more of this beautiful beet. .. LOVE IT!!! I can't believe I found it. . .swoon.
