Inspired by Biggles and his love for meat, I just HAD to capture this roast pork with a photo and a blog post. You know it's a good piece of pork when I blog about something other than my precious baby! Pork roast with a crust of crushed fennel seed, rosemary, garlic and olive oil.
When I pulled this baby out of the oven, and sliced it, seeing the perfect pink juiciness, I thought, "Oh I GOT to take a picture. Biggles would be so proud how well I treated this meat."
Miss you all and eating and writing and all the other great things that went along with food blogging. Especially the eating.

MMMM, that looks yummy! I miss you too!

Ha !!! I knew I smelled something going on over here. Excellent roast there! I have pork waiting for me at home. I'm going to fire up the mesquite later on today. After work that is.
Babies. Interesting little people ain't they? Our babies just turned 6 and 11, eek.

I did a roast beef this weekend. I took a tomato and an onion and blended them, then I added crushed garlic and honey and soy and cooked it till it got syrupy, then I covered the roast with it and cooked it in the oven, over a tray of water. It came out delicious.
Another time, I tried crushed raspberries, they were also good.

I stumbled across your blog while I was doing some online research. I personally think that crushed fennel seed enhances a wide variety of foods, yet many people never use it and often are not even sure what it is!
